Verse 256:
Exerting random judgment without prior inquiry,
one is not called righteous.
By examining even the most subtle details of both right and wrong,
one is righteous.
Verse 257:
The one leading others,
yet without forcing them, in the right way, the true way,
such one protected by Dhamma,
intelligent, is righteously called good.
